Hi Jodi! I recommend storing them in the refrigerator or freezer in a Tupperware container. They last for several weeks (longer in the freezer). I'm not sure those Peanut Butter Oat Balls are my recipe, but I have a similar recipe for No Bake Almond Butter Tahini Bites that you might like :)

Also I came across an old issue of Sumerset Holiday magazine that featured your Nic' s Peanut butter Oat Balls. But the tinyurl.com/ can't be located. Thanks for catching that, Jeanne! It should be 1 tsp vanilla and 1/4 tsp salt in the shortbread layer. I just updated the recipe :) Hope you enjoy the bars!

In the Twix Bar recipe, step 1(shortbread layer) it says to mix almond flour, coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla and salt. But the ingredients don't call for vanilla and salt in the shortbread layer. How much vanilla and salt should we put in that layer?

Hi Moni! Great question - beans and legumes are easier to digest when soaked in water for 3-6 hours. All you need to do is drain and rinse your chickpeas, then pour them in a bowl with enough water to cover the beans. Let them soak for 3-6 hours, then use them how you normally would. The soaking causes this enzyme on the skin of the bean to release and allows for better digestion. Thanks for watching the TCL segment :) I hope you love the cookies!
